Biography
Mathis Keïta joined HTV in the summer of 2024: he is an experienced recruit, brought in to strengthen the point guard position in an ambitious team. 
He has a rich background: after initial training at the Federal Center and then in the United States (university), he played for numerous French clubs, including ALM Évreux Basket, BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque, Chorale de Roanne, SLUC Nancy, and Champagne Basket. 
At HTV, he embodies experience and stability as a point guard, bringing his creativity and commitment to the team. 
Playing style
- A tall point guard for his position, which gives him good vision, allows him to dominate the game, and create mismatches. 
- Creator and distributor: in his last season before HTV, he averaged around 5 to 6 assists per game. 
- Versatility: capable of playing as a traditional point guard or shifting to a more free role depending on the system.
- Experience and leadership: his career allows him to provide a young team with guidance both on and off the court.
Career
- French Pro B champion with Roanne in 2019. 
- Second promotion and experience in Pro A (with Gravelines-Dunkerque) and multiple seasons in Pro B. 
- Arrived at HTV as the club was gaining momentum and was recruited to contribute to this project.
