Biography

At 31, Jito Kok joins Hyères Toulon Var to strengthen the team's interior with his experienced and versatile playing style.

Originally from the Netherlands, he already has a rich background: studies and college basketball at the University of San Diego, then seasons in Greece (Lavrio B.C.), Estonia (AVIS Rapla), Spain (CB Valladolid), and Belgium, among other European experiences.

At HTV, he is described as “intimidating,” capable of running the court well, very comfortable in pick & roll, and known for his good team spirit. His coach notes that “we were also lacking a bit of intimidation, and with Jito Kok, we'll have that.”

With his recent performances in France (averaging 8.1 points and 4.1 rebounds in 22 minutes of play during the last 2024-2025 season), he arrives with the ambition of establishing himself as a pillar of the paint.

His goal: to bring volume, defensive impact, and strengthen the team's balance to aim high in Elite 2.
